Living Black British History: A Panel Discussion with Black British Activists

On Friday, 18th October, Reconnect JA hosted Living Black British History, a hybrid panel discussion held at King’s College London’s Harris Lecture Theatre. The event provided an engaging and thought-provoking exploration of contemporary Black British activism, breaking away from the traditional Black History Month focus on historical figures to highlight those shaping Black British history today.

Attendees, both in-person and online, had the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue, ask questions, and gain insights from modern-day changemakers actively contributing to the Black British narrative.

Reconnect JA remains committed to hosting events that not only celebrate Black history but also amplify the voices shaping its future.
