  • We are accepting in-kind donations to support our schools and organisations in Jamaica this December. If you would like to donate items, Reconnect JA will be at Manchester Carnival on the 9th and 10th of August 2025. Your generous contributions help us provide resources and joy to British-Jamaican youth and families. We are currently looking for:

    • Academic books and educational resources

    • Posters and learning materials

    • Unopened toys

    • Clothes in good condition

    • Hygiene products

    • Skincare and beauty products

    • School supplies and stationery

  • Reconnect JA is preparing for our impactful volunteering trip this December, supporting schools and community organisations in Jamaica. If you’re passionate about making a difference and reconnecting with your heritage, this is a unique opportunity to contribute your time and skills on the ground.

    Volunteering with Reconnect JA during this trip helps empower young people through education, mentorship, and cultural exchange. Whether you have experience or are new to volunteering, your involvement matters. We are currently looking for volunteers, senior volunteers, and volunteer coordinators.
